The Gentec GE870F hydraulic plate compactor is engineered for carriers weighing between 4,000 and 14,500 lbs, delivering exceptional centrifugal force through a precisely balanced combination of maximum eccentric weight, amplitude, and vibration frequency. It achieves 95% Mod Proctor Density or better on granular and moderately cohesive soils, making it ideal for trench, foundation, and slope compaction. The unit also serves as an efficient vibratory pile driver for wood, steel, vinyl, aluminum sheeting, beams, posts, and seawalls in suitable granular soil by breaking skin friction with impulse force and down pressure.

Built for minimal maintenance, the GE870F features an integrally mounted baseplate and eccentric housing that eliminates bolt tightening, while heavy rubber isolators protect the carrier boom from vibration. A separate bolt-on headplate (sold separately) enables quick coupler compatibility, and complete mounting kits allow fast bucket replacement installation in minutes.
