Why MDM Shelters Are Superior

1. A constant hazard with portable shelters is degradation and corrosion of the frame. MDM shelters prevent this by using stainless steel carriage nuts and bolts, ensuring they won't rust or suffer stress fractures from wind or snow pressure over the lifetime of your product.
2. All components of the shelter frame are made from true hot-dipped galvanized steel tubing. Unlike many portable garage frames that use cheaper recycled steel powder-coated to look galvanized, MDM uses real galvanized steel with two extra outer layers— including a clear protective coating—plus a corrosion-resistant interior coating.
3. The shelter covers are made of heavy-duty 10-ounce rip-stop polyvinyl fabric with UV-resistant treatment and fire-retardant chemicals. The material uses a three-layer structure:
   • Outer colored weatherproof layer
   • Black middle layer that blocks sunlight and UV rays
   • White inner layer
   Rip-stop poly is extremely hard to tear, and tears won't spread. This UV-resistant fabric lasts 7–10 years in direct sunlight.
4. The cover is secured at all four corners with ratchet straps, and seams are heat-welded with cross-welding for maximum strength. This allows the cover to be tightened drum-tight, reducing vibrations and preventing heavy snow accumulation on the roof.
5. All shelters come standard with high-strength steel cable hook anchors, including a drive rod. The anchors lock 3 ft. underground with a 1200 lb. pull-out ratio, giving MDM shelters superior stability and safety in harsh weather.
6. Each shelter includes double-zipper door panels on both ends, allowing full drive-through capability and excellent airflow. MDM uses high-quality YKK zippers with closely spaced teeth for maximum strength, and door panels are wind-resistant. Optional clips add further reinforcement to the zipper tracks.
7. Most shelter sizes come in your choice of green, gray, or tan at no extra charge. The three-layer fabric:
   • Stops rain and snow
   • Blocks visible sunlight and UV rays
