This is an indirect fired heater. Exhaust gases are fully separated from the heated air via a heat exchanger. Approved for indoor and occupied spaces when installed and vented properly.

The HeatStar HS1000ID Indirect Fired Heater delivers 113,000 BTU/hr of clean, safe heat for occupied and enclosed spaces. Featuring a multi-loop heat exchanger and stainless steel combustion chamber, this heater is ideal for job sites, temporary structures, and industrial environments where clean air quality is required.
Clean, Safe Heat for Occupied Environments
The HS1000ID uses a 4-loop heat exchanger to fully separate combustion exhaust from the heated air stream, making it safe for enclosed and occupied spaces. Powerful high-static fans allow clean heated air to be ducted up to 25 feet, or the unit can be placed outdoors with warm air delivered indoors for maximum efficiency and air quality.
